My Second Gig – Cardiff (3rd May 2025)

After my first official gig, I wanted to keep building momentum — and not long after, I landed my second proper performance, this time in Cardiff on 3rd May 2025.

This one felt like a step up straight away.

I headed down with my DJ, who was helping me get everything properly set up and pushing me towards being able to perform fully solo. We were both buzzing on the way there, capturing a few behind-the-scenes clips and just enjoying the moment — it felt like things were starting to become real.

When we first arrived, it wasn’t quite what we expected at first. But once we got set up and started speaking to people, that quickly changed. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and up for it — and the atmosphere built nicely as the night went on.

That night, I performed two full sets, with a break in between. It gave me the chance to expand the setlist, try more songs, and really grow in confidence on stage. It also meant we were able to capture much better footage than my first gig — which was a big win in itself.

One of the standout moments was going live on TikTok during the set for the first time. That was a big step, and it went down really well. It felt like more than just a performance — it felt like I was starting to build something.

The crowd were great from start to finish — loads of energy, fully involved, and really feeding into the performance. That kind of reaction makes a huge difference, especially when you’re still early on in your journey.

Looking back, Cardiff couldn’t have gone much better. It was a clear step forward — more confidence, better setup, and a stronger overall performance.

Definitely one I’d go back to.
